Minneapolis, Pugslyville, and Heaven

In Minnesota last night, a bridge on I-35 collapsed over the Mississippi River. Nobody could avoid the fall... whoever was on the bridge at the time was lucky to see anything ever again. Something similar happened in eastern Oklahoma about 5 years ago over Memorial Day weekend.

On a VeggieTales episode called “The Toy that Saved Christmas,” a toy and some cute little penguins were able to save Bob the Tomato, Larry the Cucumber, Junior Asparagus, and Wallie P. Nezzer from falling off the broken bridge to Pugslyville. Makes some people wish that penguins were native to downtown Minneapolis or rural Oklahoma, you know?

Everyone who grew up in a Baptist church has heard the bridge illustration before, so I won’t even dive into making Jesus look like a short little penguin or a Buzzsaw Louie. But the bridge and penguins and shop-tool-armed toys are useless to someone who doesn’t know Jesus... at least in this illustration. It’s our duty to share Jesus with people who haven’t met him yet, and Ezekiel 3 says that we will be held accountable for the opportunities we pass up to do so.

i would have but i was at a movie.. then this morning at like 7:30 i had band practice from 7:30 till 12:00 then lunch break then 1:30 till 3:00 i had band practice

Kristin, Justin, it’s your blatent disregard for spelling rules and the difference between “your” and “you’re” that I fear will ultimately lead to my death by insanity.

And you can’t blame all your problems on me for being a perfectionist. I think I should do a free class devoted entirely to teaching BASIC ENGLISH SKILLS. You know I still love you guys, but you could at least meet me half way by learning the following:

YOUR = belongs to you
YOU’RE = you + are

ITS = belongs to it
IT’s = it + is

THERE = in that direction
THEIR = belongs to them
THEY’RE = they + are

Any others I can help clarify? :-)

Wow, if you ever become a teacher, I want to come to your class. You're amazing. It's only my fate that I can't use your skills, since I never really understood it. FHS and their teachers are awesome, but they're never going to be able to teach me like you just did. So, next time I see you in person, I want to thank you right there on the spot.

TOO = amount
TWO = a number between 1 and 3
TO = directional (or part of verb)

Example: TWO hours is TOO long a time TO spend driving TO the store.

Last night our band went to competition and we got 5th place out of whole competition and 4th out of the 10 bands that went to finals!!!! We were a band ready to destroy anything in out path! We totally kicked butt!!! We had made a last min. change in the music and Linley said that most band directors would not do that. We were sooooo nervous we beat Wakeland and Liberty.

dunno they didn't go. But we are going to beat their band this year. There coming to our compeition and im going to watch

because Centennial is the first Frisco band to go to state!!

But so WHOSE the best Frisco band? CENTENNIAL :-P I have no doubt that Frisco was pretty good. We just had more general effect and yea.

We got 17th place and we are in the top 7% best 4A band in Texas!!!!! Sorry i havent been on here gradse got a C and got "grounded"
